我, Victor, 領略到:  在哥林多後書 第 7 & 8 章中，使徒保羅講及提多帶給了他很大的安慰。這是因為神感動了提多的心，叫他殷勤的對待哥林多教會的信徒。以下是相關的經文：

「親愛的弟兄阿、我們既有這等應許、就當潔淨自己、除去身體靈魂一切的污穢、敬畏神、得以成聖」 (林後  7:1)。

「我大大的放膽、向你們說話．我因你們多多誇口、滿得安慰．我們在一切患難中分外的快樂」 (林後  7:4)。

「你們知道我們主耶穌基督的恩典、他本來富足、卻為你們成了貧窮、叫你們因他的貧窮、可以成為富足」 (林後  8:9)。

「如經上所記、『多收的也沒有餘、少收的也沒有缺。』」 (林後  8:15)。

「多謝神、感動提多的心、叫他待你們殷勤、像我一樣」 (林後  8:16)。

「他固然是聽了我的勸．但自己更是熱心、情願往你們那裡去」 (林後  8:17)。

「我們留心行光明的事、不但在主面前、就在人面前、也是這樣」 (林後  8:21)。

「論到提多、他是我的同伴、一同為你們勞碌的．論到那兩位弟兄、他們是眾教會的使者、是基督的榮耀」 (林後  8:23)。

「所以你們務要在眾教會面前、顯明你們愛心的憑據、並我所誇獎你們的憑據」 (林後  8:24)。

對我來說，當信徒們能夠彼此「以愛相待」的時候，別人就知道我們是「基督徒」 (小基督)。神就必會得著榮耀。願我們緊記！阿們！

我, Victor, 領略到:  在哥林多後書 第 3 & 4 章中，使徒保羅講及「主的榮光」之真理。並且，我們既有「盼望」，就應當大膽地講說「神的福音」，以致在神面前能把自己個人的「信仰」推薦於各人的「良知」。以下是相關的經文：

「你們就是我們的薦信 （ letter ) 、寫在我們的心裡、被眾人所知道所念誦的」 (林後  3:2)。

「他叫我們能承當這新約的執事．不是憑著字句、乃是憑著精意．因為那字句 ( letter ) 是叫人死、精意 ( spirit ) 是叫人活。〔精意或作聖靈〕」 (林後  3:6)。

「那用字刻在石頭上屬死的職事 ( ministry ) 、尚且有榮光、甚至以色列人因摩西面上的榮光、不能定睛看他的臉．這榮光原是漸漸退去的」 (林後  3:7)。

「何況那屬靈的職事、豈不更有榮光麼」 (林後  3:8)。

「此等不信之人、被這世界的神弄瞎了心眼、不叫基督榮耀福音的光照著他們．基督本是神的像」 (林後  4:4)。

「我們原不是傳自己、乃是傳基督耶穌為主、並且自己因耶穌作你們的僕人」 (林後  4:5)。

「我們有這寶貝放在瓦器裡、要顯明這莫大的能力、是出於神、不是出於我們」 (林後  4:7)。

「身上常帶著耶穌的死、使耶穌的生、也顯明在我們身上」 (林後  4:10)。

「自己知道、那叫主耶穌復活的、也必叫我們與耶穌一同復活、並且叫我們與你們一同站在他面前」 (林後  4:14)。

「所以我們不喪膽．外體雖然毀壞、內心卻一天新似一天」 (林後  4:16)。

「我們這至暫至輕的苦楚、要為我們成就極重無比永遠的榮耀」 (林後  4:17)。

「原來我們不是顧念所見的、乃是顧念所不見的．因為所見的是暫時的、所不見的是永遠的」 (林後  4:18)。

對我來說，保羅在此教導了我們要「堅持無畏」。他更勸勉我們「不要喪膽」。我們的外體雖然毀壞，但內心卻是「一天新似一天」。但願我們都能夠顧念「所看不見的」。因為，我們現在「所看見的」乃是「短暫」；「所看不見的」才是「永恆」！阿們！

Grand Canyon of Life

A lady was asked about her age on her birthday.  

To conceal her ‘top secret’, she wisely replied, “If my life were the journey from California to New York, then I have just arrived at the Grand Canyon.”

Light of Exit

Is life a straight road?  

Where will it ultimately lead to?  

How do we get to the promised land?  

Those who thought life is only a straight road may never reach their destination.  

In life, when faced with a difficult and rugged path, an “Even-If-Not” attitude can help you find the way out.

I am most fascinated by the biblical characters Daniel and his 3 friends (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego). 

Their respective “Extraordinary Spirit” and “Even-If-Not” attitude are unforgettable.  

Their faith in God superseded their inner fear.  

Ultimately, God helped them overcome difficult situations.  (Daniel 3:16-18)

My “life journey” from California might have reached Chicago.  

When faced with problems, I could only cry out to God in fear to ask for immediate relief from them.  

No wonder our life is often spiraling downward.

Gracefully Accept

“Even-If-Not” means not to retreat in difficulties, but persevere to realize our mission.  

Our fear is just temporary clouds; there is always a rainbow after the rain.  

Thus, we must learn to gracefully accept the changes and tragedies in life.  

But what a challenge it is to accept with joy under burning crises.  

Will I still stand firm with an “Even-If-Not” attitude?  

History in Progress

Each one must diligently shape one’s life, and live responsibly both at home and at church.  

As C. S. Lewis said, “If you do not feed your body responsibly, 

your health will not last.  

Christians need to live responsibly even more.”  

At church, many Christians are creative and motivated.  

May God unite our spiritual gifts to do something beautiful for Him.

In life, we need both the “Even-If-Not” attitude and “Gracefully-Accept” quality, 

to respect our differences, 

march towards pleasing God, 

and shoulder the mission of gospel.  

Do not be stuck for too long.  

Being overly self-appreciative at our achievements or angry at our failures is detrimental to our spiritual lives.  

Let us walk with God in faith, 

and let Him write our brand new history!
