詩28:7上 - 耶和華是我的力量,是我的盾牌;
我心裏倚靠他就得幫助。
詩118:14 - 耶和華是我的力量,是我的詩歌;

it was last February i first heard this song, and it's become one of my "heart songs." not yet once have i faced this song alone and been able to get past the 1st line "誰曾應許,一生不撇下我 " without feeling 鼻子一酸, and getting through the 2nd line w/out getting all teary.
what an awesome promise. didn't even realize the enormity of it when i first said "yes." 人的一生短到不得了, 但神竟不惜代價的,要將祂永恆的愛給人.
Psalms 103:15-17 "至於世人,他的年日好像草一般 ... 經風一吹,就歸無有...
但從亙古到永遠,耶和華的慈愛臨到敬畏他的人..."
I remember hearing this song during one of the CSAF singspiration in 2006, but they only sang along with an audio CD. The lyrics are both meaningful and beautiful, but it wasn't touching to me at that time. All I recall from is that phrase "even every strand of our hair was counted." Recently, when I listened to it again in my quiet corner at home on a headphone, I couldn't help but welling up in my eyes - I was literally crying like a baby. Indeed, God's Words transpired through music are very powerful and reflective.
