Chapter (A-5) . .. ... Upward Prelude
Welcome to the “Press On Moment”.
This is Victor Cheung.
Life itself is a message.
Through these few minutes,
may you crisscross the spiritual journey of
this writer’s heart to press on.
Chapter (A-5) . .. ... Upward Prelude
DunDunDun Dunn
Among classical music masterpieces,
there is none more iconic than the first 4 notes of
Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5” prelude.
“DunDunDun Dunn“ set the stage inspiring the pending music waves of peaks and troughs.
Likewise in life, we need
an inspiring prelude to set us onto God’s upward path.
Song of Ascents
The Book of Psalms in most part comprises the psalmists’ petitions,
voicing out their emotions to God the Almighty, Comforter, etc.
But rarely do we recognize the hidden gemstones of 15 Songs of Ascents (Psalms 120-134)
that depicts the 15 ascending steps for believers to unite with God.
The Upward Call
The Apostle Paul admonished Christians to answer to God’s upward call (Philippians 3:14).
We are to think not of visible earthly things, but the invisible heavenly things (Colossians 3:2).
Blessed are those who believe without seeing (John 20:29)—
for “you ain’t see nothing yet” what is to come in heaven.
DunDunDun Dunn!

Thank you for listening to the “Press On Moment”.
Please remember,
The first step toward the heavenly journey is to
ask the God-glorifying Holy Spirit to fill us daily in our hearts,
so we can have this attitude
which is in Christ Jesus.
😄 Until next time, good bye!
