Name Inherited
Hong Kong singer Jacky Cheung’s famous song “Your Name, My Surname”
depicts the committed love of couples.
Sharing the same surname is the first step of marriage.
In The Name of Love
God’s Name “I Am” is also based on love.
God told Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” ~ (Exodus 3:14a)
He is the unique, self-sufficient, everlasting, unchanging God.
We can fathom God’s name (“I Am”) via His infinite mercy,
just like a blank check for you to fill in any amount.
If in darkness, you can write after His Name “Light of Life”.
If in hunger, you can write “Bread of Life”.
If in a storm, you can write “Refuge”. This check is absolutely cashable.
Respond to His Abundance
The “I Am” God is true and living.
Today in people crowds and arid hearts,
He is seeking for the peace-yearning spirit to listen to His Guidance and receive His Providence.
May we respond to God, “I am here. Thy servant is listening.”
