Chapter (B-9) . .. ... Minding the Gap
Welcome to the “Press On Moment”.
This is Victor Cheung.
Life itself is a message.
Through these few minutes,
may you crisscross the spiritual journey of
this writer’s heart to press on.
Chapter (B-9) . .. ... Minding the Gap
Please Mind the Gap
Commuters of Mass Transit Railway in London or Hong Kong should be no stranger
to the announcer’s constant broadcast reminder:
“Please mind the gap.”
But what does the gap relate to our spiritual life?
Covered in the Gap
When it comes to the gap mentioned in the Bible,
Moses is the first one in it.
Despite interacting with God as a friend, he could not see God’s face and still survived afterward.
Therefore, he had to hide in the gap of a rock, so God could cover him with His hand.
God also allowed a peek of His back. What a privilege it is when you can walk so closely with God. (Exodus 33:20-23)
Standing in the Gap
Another relevance of the gap is regarding Christians standing in the gap to pray.
Apostle Paul often admonished believers to pray for the lost souls.
Every time we pray, we move the hands of God to free them from the bondage of sins.
Let’s not forget to use this God-given powerful spiritual weapon at our disposal.
Crossing over the Deep Gap
Finally, nothing is more important in life
than to cross over this deep gap of “eternal separation from God”
and get on the pathway that “leads to eternal life”.
Jesus is the only “Way, Truth, and Life”.
Lead the Lost Souls
Now, leading the lost souls around us to cross over this deep gap together
is all that really matters in each of our spiritual lives.

Thank you for listening to the “Press On Moment”.
Please remember,
The first step toward the heavenly journey is to
ask the God-glorifying Holy Spirit to fill us daily in our hearts,
so we can have this attitude
which is in Christ Jesus.
😄 Until next time, good bye!
